“Everywhere he goes, he stirs up sex. . . and trouble.”
You said it, lady.
By the way, he’s topless in this preview AND THERE IS KISSING.
You might want to make sure you’re somewhere private when you watch it in case you begin to weep shamelessly from joy. Like I just did.

This news is way cool! Hubby and I actually both enjoyed “Due South” very much – he, more because of the Canada jokes (he grew up in Burlington, VT, watching Canadian TV), and I – well, you know ….. BTW, we also both LOVE “Men With Brooms,” and recommend it whenever we can!
I just hope ABC doesn’t pull some of its same old dumb stuff, and not give the show a chance.

Hm-m-m…interesting that they should cast him the Nicholson role. I’m not sure I buy him as a bad boy. Should be interesting to see where the show goes though if, as noted previously, ABC doesn’t give it an opportunity to find an audience.

I know what you mean, Kim. Hard to see The Constable playing a snarky bad ass, for sure. But I have seen him play the villain before in movies, and he was pretty convincing. And he definitely does snark very, very well. I confess I was in NO WAY planning to watch this series until I found out he was in it. Now I have to, even though I’m fairly certain it’s going to be TERRIBLE. A truly bizarre idea for a series, and the women in the cast aren’t really favorites of mine either.

Oh dear lord, here comes all the bad Boston accents, or what actors and directors THINK the Boston accent is.

Well, folks, we may be losing Ray Wise as the Devil (“Reaper”), but look who we’re gaining! (I think Paul Gross is a vast improvement over Jack Nicholson!)
Is it just me, or is Evil getting cuter and cuter? No wait – it’s been going on for a while. Nathan Fillion was pretty darn good as “Caleb, the Evil Preacher-Guy!”

Heck, even people born and raised in Boston mess up the Boston accent. It’s part of the charm of the Bostonian brogue.

I always remember NOT to pronounce my R and used that dropped R in words that don’t have any Rs. LOL
Example
Dropped R……Correct word “Park” Wrong Pronunciation “Pawk”
Replacement R……Correct Word “idea”, wrong pronunciation “Iders”

I admit, I may have squeed; just a little one, but a squee nonetheless. I have to ask, though, what’s up with his hair in the previews? Didn’t they ever watch Due South and see how hot he looked with his short, spiky hair?

WORD, melindam!! The hair will have to go!

Love the hair. Love the man. Intend to love the show — for obvious reasons: see aforementioned hair and man. 😉
Yum!
